Creating a Site Pre-assessment
Login to SiteSmart
Select resources on the side navigation
Select "Site Pre-assessment".
Select "Create New Assessment"
Enter your site name and address
Answer; does this site involve heights, overhead work, trenches, or confined spaces. This will tailor the assessment to your site.
Select "Get Started" you will be returned to the landing page to see your created assessment.
Click on the assessment - site name/address
Follow each section and add details where applicable
Answer the questions for each potential hazard. Where you answer 'yes' or 'maybe' you will be prompted to add what controls you will introduce for that hazard.
Add any PPE required.
Add any other site observations.
Scroll down to view your Pre-start Assessment Report that can be used to debrief your workers.
Scroll to the top of the page.
Here you can download and export your pre-start assessment to carry out your pre-start and save in your files where required.
